How we got here

Techoptionz was incorporated in Islamabad on 8 March 2021 as a single-member private company limited by shares, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Its defining engagement came through partnerships with two Australian software companies, Keyob Pty Ltd and Renzym Pty Ltd, who were building a customised ERP system for autobody parts suppliers in the United States, operating across Chicago, Melrose Park and Grand Rapids.

That ERP went live and stayed live. It has been in continuous production use since 2020 — 6 years — and Techoptionz remains engaged in both its support and its ongoing development, extending what it can do. Very little in this industry gets to be measured over that kind of span, and it shaped how the company works: build something a business can depend on, then stay responsible for it.

From there the work broadened. A custom CRM for construction companies in Australia. AI-based software developed with Keyob. Discovery sessions with clients around the world, working out whether a proposed project is feasible before anyone commits a budget to it. Today the company works across the full range of IT services — from AI-assisted websites through to specialised business software and AI workflows.

What we actually believe

Three convictions shape most of our decisions, and they are worth stating plainly because they will not suit everyone.

Scope is where projects fail.Most software that disappoints was built competently — it just solved the wrong problem. That is why we push discovery hard, and why a discovery engagement that concludes “buy this instead, do not build it” is a success rather than a lost sale.

Support is the real product.Launch is the cheapest, easiest part of a system’s life. What matters is what happens in year three, when the original developers have moved on and the business has changed. We price and plan for that from the start.

Say the uncomfortable thing early. If a deadline is not achievable, if a requirement is going to cause trouble later, or if we are the wrong team for the job — you should hear it while it is still cheap to act on.
